We believe in the power of diversity and the strength it brings to our community. Our commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, and human rights guides everything we do.
We offer crisis response, intervention, and prevention services tailored to the needs of individuals, families, and communities. We achieve this through advocacy, service navigation, case coordination, community connections, education, and youth empowerment. As a non-partisan organization, we support communities and individuals affected by crime and sudden tragedies, working to reduce barriers and help victims connect with the community to overcome adversity.
We strive to create a welcoming space for everyone, regardless of race, ethnicity, nationality, citizenship status, religion, class, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, or ability. We understand that many of these identities intersect, making equity, diversity, and inclusion complex and vital. We value each person’s unique contributions and are committed to ensuring full and equal participation for all within our community.
We are committed to identifying and challenging biased or discriminatory behaviors, attitudes, and comments. We recognize our role within the systems that perpetuate oppression and are dedicated to challenging and dismantling institutional barriers to equity.
